„Gehe auf die offizielle Webseite epetitionen.bundestag.de. Dort findest Du aktuelle Petitionen, die Deine Unterstützung brauchen. Du kannst dort auch danach suchen. Zum Beispiel nach der Petitions-ID  186702." 

Registrierung und Anmeldung
„Um Petitionen mitzuzeichnen, musst Du Dich einmalig kurz anmelden. Gib Deinen Vor- und Nachnamen, eine gültige E-Mail-Adresse und Deine Kontaktdaten ein. Deine Daten bleiben natürlich vertraulich.“

Petition auswählen und unterzeichnen
„Suche Deine gewünschte Petition über die Suchfunktion oder direkt über einen Link. Klicke dann auf ‚Petition mitzeichnen‘. Du erhältst eine Bestätigungsmail, in der Du Deine Unterschrift bestätigst.“

 Wichtiges Quorum – 30.000 in 6 Wochen
„Damit die Petition im Bundestag öffentlich behandelt wird, sind 30.000  gültige Unterstützungen innerhalb von 6 Wochen nötig. Das sind 42 Tage. 
Es ist also wichtig, die Petition rasch zu teilen!“

Nach der Unterzeichnung
„Nach der Unterzeichnung kannst Du den Fortschritt verfolgen und die Petition weiterverbreiten. Jede Unterschrift zählt und bringt Dein unterstütztes Anliegen voran.“

"How to sign a German Bundestag e-Petition correctly"

1. Welcome and Introduction 
"Hello and welcome! In this video, we’ll show you how to correctly sign a public Bundestag e-Petition – simply, securely, and according to the rules in effect for 2025/2026."

2. What is a Bundestag e-Petition? 
"An e-Petition is an online way to address your concerns directly to the German Parliament. Everyone can participate – regardless of nationality or place of residence. There is also no minimum age requirement!"

3. Where to find the petitions? 
"Go to the official website: epetitionen.bundestag.de. There you will find current petitions that need your support. You can also search for a specific one – for example, by entering the Petition ID 186702."

4. Registration and Login 
"To sign a petition, you need to register once. Enter your first and last name, a valid email address, and your contact details. Your data will, of course, remain confidential and will only be used for the petition process."

5. Selecting and Signing 
"Find your desired petition using the search function or a direct link. Then click the button: 'Petition mitzeichnen' (Sign Petition). You will then receive a confirmation email to verify your signature. Please make sure to click the link in that email!"

6. Important Quorum – 30,000 in 6 weeks

"For a petition to be discussed in a public hearing of the Parliament, 30,000 valid signatures are required within 6 weeks (42 days). Therefore, it is crucial to share the petition quickly!"
